A Fair Share of Trees for Every Neighborhood

Have you noticed the empty tree wells on our streets? Each is a sign of a city-wide inequity that leaves our most vulnerable communities with concrete instead of trees. In San Francisco, some neighborhoods enjoy lush canopies of over 20%, while others like SOMA, Bayview, and Nob Hill are left with less than 5%. This isn't an accident, it's a policy failure we're fighting to fix.A combination of flawed city policies and misdirected funds means these wells stay empty, making the problem worse and keeping canopy low. It's time to fill every empty tree well, cut new ones, and demand Tree Equity for every neighborhood.Over 900 residents have signed the petition.Join them!
